0:24 - COVER ALL VENTS
It's very important that The Spacer Bubble covers all of the vents on the side of the boom mic. Partial coverage my affect the directionality and overall sound quality of the shotgun mic.
0:42 - SPACE OF DEAD AIR
It's also important that you leave a space between the end of your shotgun microphone and the inside of the Spacer Bubble to allow your shotgun mic to sound as natural as possible. To ensure there is this space, you can retract the microphone windshield by a couple of millimeters. Don't pull it back too far though as we want to make sure that all air vents are still covered.

The Spacer Bubble comes with The Long-Haired Fur Cover, with The Short-Haired Fur Cover also available to help you find the right balance between wind protection and audio transparency.
When installing your fur cover, it's important that the leather band of the fur cover fits tightly over the rubber band of the mesh base. This can then be secured tightly with an elastic drawstring.

I purchased one for my rode ntg2 but could be something wrong with the sealing because in windy situation i still get a lot of rumble.
