If you see data is placed row 24 (or any other row) Select row 4 to 23, Right click and delete entire row. This is one time. After that it will work fine.

Hi great video. However how can I make the rows I transfer to the new sheet follow down from each other? Right now, if I transfer a row that is in A3, then when I look at the new worksheet, it overwrites row 3 in the new sheet. the button got copied to the 2nd sheet. How do you keep the button from being copied? I'm guessing it's because it was in the row that got copied from sheet 1 to sheet 2.

Figured out a work around - just put the button in ROW 1 and make Row 1 tall enough to hold the button. Often WRAP TEXT will make one of the headers be 'taller' and the button can fit in the row nicely then.

Hi, great video. Exactly what I was looking for. I've implemented the code in my sheet and it worked. The only problem is that the moved rows start at row 8 in sheet2. But I want the moved rows to start from Cell A2 in sheet2 (I have headers in row 1) Any help?

Once the data is moved to row 8 remove row 2-7. select right-click and delete. This is a one time task. after that it will work smoothly.

I used this code but made two macros so that 'done' is put on sheet2 and 'pending' on sheet3...then I made a macro to run all macros when pushing the button. The 'done' copies and moves all 'done' items to sheet2, however, the 'pending' items only moves one over to sheet3 - not all of them. It's the exact same code as the 'done' but with different names...what am I missing?

Is there any table or special formatting on sheet three? If not then check the word "pending". Its case sensitive and if you add a space to it or something like that it won't work. Its moving one that means the code is working. You need to recheck everything carefully.

Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to move an entire row once a date is entered? For example, if I have a list of outstanding projects and I put a completion date for a project, I want that entire row to move to a "Completed Project" sheet. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I can do "Move rows to another worksheet based on date" If you want. Here is what you'll get. You enter completion date. Now whenever you run the code it will check if any completion date = today's date. If it finds a match it'll move the entire row.
