It's been a long time since I visited New York. In the past (early to mid 90's), and as far as I can remember, you were not allowed to negotiate the taxi ride because the taximeter was in charge of the price. But it's good that nowadays you can negotiate the trip like in many other cities in the rest of the world! And as New Yorkers say, if you are in nyc, you need to learn how to negotiate! Yes, in Taipei we have U-bike that function the same as in Newyour. Also, Taipei city has subway system. The Metro station is clean and looks new.

I learned many ways of transporting in New York's town 'cause if you thanks so much Ariannita now talking about this theme there's no ferries transport no subway and no taxi Uber in my country, renting a bike is too expensive and may use only tourists from another country except tourists from my country
