How to move big Cubase Library Files to another Harddrive!

So this was made 3 weeks ago. 5 weeks ago I invested in a 2tb C drive; it cost me c. £70 to have Windows installed and took a day to download all my software including a new Cubase 13 Artist. I haven’t had much luck this year. 😢

@@thegroundnoise That’s Brexit for you. I’ve moved the files and got by C drive down to 1tb of software! Two things that you might have mentioned a) the transfer even on a fastish computer is slow and b) Cubase will find the files in their new home, if they have been used in a composition

You're right, but a) moving big files around always can be slow, it's common sense imo and b) I mention that you must not move files by hand. That's literally the point of this video. Anyway, thanks for your feedback! It will help me to be more accurate in future videos. Stay tuned 😎

Markus thanks for this as i managed to move 20 GB out of my Cdrive to the Gdrive bringing less stress to my PC to this video. U got a sub also !

Library manager takes care of it... nothing new there, otherwise creating shortcuts or symbolic links.
