Today I woke up after crying myself to sleep last night because it is just so hard to LET GO! God spoke to me the message of bringing the Egyptians out of the wilderness just like He is bringing me out of this marriage and I was doing fine and here comes the waterworks again. I prayed and asked Him to bring me people who are going through the same hurt as me and my friend sends me this video. I am comforted to know I am not the only one. I am struggling with letting go and more so the fear of not having this man in my life anymore and becoming strangers. I know God’s hands are all in this but the pain is unbearable😢 I can’t wait to look back and give my testimony just like God is using you to speak to me.

Yes! I have been trying to let go. Of a beautiful and smart man who is, as I see it, getting the benefits of my codependency. He isn’t doing maliciously, but that doesn’t change the facts. This relationship doesn’t glorify God, and frankly, nothing about it feels God-ordained.

@@chrtyhwrd for me, it was letting someone go that I didn’t want to let go but I did it because I felt God was moving me to do it so I surrendered my wants/feelings and cut communication with that person.

Also, I do have an idea of how much delay I’ve tolerated due to mismanagement of my time and emotions.. allowing my fear and lack of self love to control the direction of my life. When you said the vision board was on wall not being actioned, can I tell you for like 7 years!? Whew. Toes and crunched! I’m thankful to be awakened and submitted to the direction of God’s plans. I just want to say all praise is due to GOD! This message came right on time. Lately I’ve been so jaded and frustrated with this process of grieving someone who I thought would be in my life for a long time. And I keep asking God if He made the mistake (even though I know He didn’t), trying to find any way to drag my feet into this new season. Every time I feel my body wanting to go through the motions I try to avoid it but this message really affirmed me. You really do have to let it happen and be able to sit with the discomfort. Definitely on my to-do list to try. I’ve already started reading more of the scriptures and talking to God when I feel it’s too much. God bless you for sharing this beautiful perspective!

I am going through a break up with my childhood sweetheart, we have been together for 7 years, but after so many chances, he just couldn't seem to ever stay and choose me over other girls or other things, letting go has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through in my life.
