I grew up in St.Catherines and imigrated to the UK a few years ago.I find the cost of living here much lower than in Canada .Canadians are definitely getting shafted with cell phone plans and the sales tax was horrendous..I definitely miss the well defined seasons..Niagara falls at Christmas and sour cream and onion potatoes chips..thanks for your channel it's nice to see parts of Niagara again😁

Hi Louise, fantastic video as always. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I've spoken to you before and mentioned we would probably go for the Express Entry but if and when you get denied... how many chances do you get ? (Both with IEC and EE Visas)? Also you mention the IEC visa if you're under 30.. I take it it's only available for the under 30's? Again we would probably be doing EE entry but if for any reason we fancied changing to the IEC.. can we not apply as we are both 34 and 36. Thanks again!

Hi ya! Just wondering if you think its best to gather all the beginning documents thats needed before the pools open in 2022 as to be prepared or to wait until they do? I was to late to register for the IEC visa before it finished this year so I want to be prepared for next year so that I at least have a bit of a shot getting one early in the new year. Also are you aware if a job offer is mandatory before you apply, even if you are fully vaccinated? Also, thanks so much for making this video, its really helped me alot on figuring out that this is the visa that I want to apply for x

Would you advice to at least create the account to be in the pool as that can take some while to be picked to even submit the documents ? as we are hoping to relocate by January if all gets done in time . hey thank you so much for your video. Just a quick question... I created an IRCC Account and logged in with it. I then completed the eligible test on the canada government homepage. We received a reference code but the homepage didnt automatically further us to the next step as promised. What can we do now? It is like a loop hole and I cant reach anyone from canada. Yes, they send you a link over and you can book them. They make it really easy and straight forward :)

Hi, just wondering how long does the a successful visa application last if you get it accept? For example, if I get it accept on February 1st 2021 but I'm not planning on going until February 1st 2022 will it still be valid? Many thanks Luke

yes you have 1 year to enter the country... so I prob wouldn't leave it to the last day of the year just in case but yeah xxx

Hey :) really helpful video! Once you have your IEC and submitted all your documents, when will the IEC be valid from? If I was to be accepted and have submitted everything could I the. Choose to enter Canada 5 months later, and is this when the 2 years would begin?

Good question, so you have up to a year to activate it then once you land in the country that’s when the 2 years start :) hope this makes sense xx

So when I applied I didn't need a job. But the rules have now change, you need a job offer to enter Canada

So i am looking to apply for my visa this year and this looks like the easier option... I was looking at permanent residency straight away but it’s a lot more expensive. So if I get the visa and then I need to come home for a week for a friends wedding ... do I then need to apply for another visa?? Or can you still visit home whilst on the visa?

You can go home on a IEC visa! :)

It depends what visa you are getting. IEC you don’t need a job to enter the country you can find one when you land :) x

No it’s not the normal process I didn’t have to have a job before entering Canada. I would look at summer camps and ski seasons as that is probably the easiest way to get a job xx

Not as a couple no only individual. Thats why alot of couples apply for a different visa like express entry
