After several years of painting in watercolor, acrylic, resin & silk dyes, I finally picked up oil painting & plein air painting last year. Once I saw Bill’s demo, it hit me & made so much sense. So I jumped in with both feet & learned so much from 2 of his amazing workshops. Not to mention how much FUN we had💟🎨👩🏻🎨 Love his talent, teaching style, technique, positivity & enthusiasm!

I watched Bill’s video on mixing perfect color. What a game changer! So much easier to understand than other instructors I’ve followed. Thank you for your wonderful simplified instruction🤗👍

How does he do it? Does he mix piles of gray and then mix color into the grays?

Eric, I’m grateful for you & your team. Without you, I wouldn’t have been inspired to make the jump and continues to be such a positive part of my being in this sometimes dark world. It’s so bright out now gotta wear shades 😎lol

Eric I love so many of the videos you have had made for artists which enables them to learn from so many wonderful, established artists. Every once in a while I find an artist who is so great and now has left this earth and there is no video to show us how they created their magic. On another note, isn’t there any way to take the videos by Richard Schmid and change them to something we could stream. My guess is you’ve already looked into that.

Talking about value and color and never showing your palett makes the whole lesson a waste of time.
