Doctor, your empathy is unmatched. On average, survivors don’t have responsive physicians like you. The topic is under-diagnosed and untreated by oncologists. Hopefully this video will give us points to advocate for our sexual health if we experience severe side effects from HT or as a result of active treatment.

Your words mean a great deal to us. It's disheartening to hear that some survivors may not have the responsive support they need. Addressing the topic of sexual health can be a vital part of the recovery process, and we're glad this video has provided you with points to advocate for it. Thank you for watching!

I'm having real problems with this issue in my marriage. My husband thinks I am rejecting him because I don't have any interest in physical intimacy. I feel ugly and monstrous, not attractive. Now, I feel guilty that I am not able to respond to his overtures. I just don't know what to do.

This sounds so hard. If possible, seeking the help of a professional therapist who specializes in issues of intimacy could really help. Thanks for sharing your story.

I'm taking verzenio for early stage high risk of recurrence. Is it transmissable to my partner through bodily fluids? Will be on it for 2 years fingers crossed

In searching through all the materials available about Verzenio (non-brand name: abemaciclib), there are no precautions to avoid exposure to body fluids. We would suggest, however, that you discuss with your medical team, in particular, the pharmacist on your medical team.
