Why do the free agents I sign get automatically put on waiver and immediately claimed by another team?

This just happened to me in year three of my dynasty. I lost Juan Soto and it auto saved since it happened over December to January 1st so I just had to delete my franchise. Hours and hours of "work" gone :(

@@CraigCutler6 I can't figure out if I am doing something wrong or what... I just don't even try to sign free agents anymore.

@@swirvinbirds1971I'm not sure of this, but I think what happens is this. We both might have had our roster full so it placed them in the DFA spot automatically. You can fix it/avoid it if you move them immediately after you sign them. But if you sim for one day too long, just one day, then it's over. They will be claimed and it's too late.
