Thanks very much for your short but important info about the Orlando Airport! We are seniors and have traveled to many airports around the country as well as Florida over the years...but NEVER flown into/out of Orlando. This looks like a midsize city! We are cruising from Port Canaveral in mid July '22 and your video will certainly be a big help.

@@MeganMoves I do have a few questions! My first question is if you have checked baggage where do you take it so it can be put on the plane? (Might be a stupid question but I am still learning lol.) My next question would be How can I know what airside to be dropped off at (I think there is 2 sides of the airport with the different check in sections? may be wrong.) I will be taking Frontier airlines so I believe there is a certain side they have their check in areas at. Sorry if that was a lot or confusing LOL. I won't be leaving til next august but I plan on booking my flight within the next few months for better value for my budget and so I have plenty of time to do my research :) Thanks again

@MeganMoves 2 жыл бұрын
@Myra's Little Nursery No these are good questions! As far as checked bags go, when you first walk into the airport from getting dropped off at departures, you will see counters for each of the airlines. If you are flying Frontier, you will want to go to the Frontier counter with your bag to have it checked. There they will weigh it and have it sent to the plane! You are correct there are 2 different terminals at Orlando, A and B. For Frontier you will want to get dropped off at Terminal A but check your gate to make sure that is correct for your flight! Does that make sense? I have included the link to the Orlando Airport website with Frontier's info as well! www.orlando-airport.com/mco-airlines/frontier-airlines

Hi Megan! I will be flying out of Orlando Airport next week for the 1st time next week. My question is, if I booked my flight online (Expedia) and have my flight # and I am just bringing carry on luggage 🧳, How and WHERE do I get my boarding pass at OIA?
@MeganMoves
@MeganMoves Жыл бұрын
Good question! What airline Are you flying on? If you have your confirmation number, usually you will go into the airlines app or website to retrieve your boarding pass! This can usually be done 24 hours before your flight leaves as well. Does that answer your question? Thanks for watching and have a safe flight!

@@MeganMoves Thank you for your quick response. I am flying on Delta Airlines. So, I can go to their website to get a boarding pass? Is there somewhere in the Airport to get a boarding pass? Which way is better?
@MeganMoves
@MeganMoves Жыл бұрын
@@Sista_Diamond if I were you I would go on their website or download the app! There are kiosks at the airport that you can get it at but there may be a line of other people trying to retrieve theirs. I would download the app ( you don’t have to create an account you can continue as a guest) and find your boarding pass that way. You can either print it out or have it on your phone! 😃

Thank you for this video, i'm planing to make a stop there with spirit, to then hop in on Jetblue. I'm a little confused, seems that after landing on Terminal A ( I believe spirit uses), I will have to go to security again in order to get to Terminal C where Jetblue is? Thanks in advance.
@MeganMoves
@MeganMoves Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Glad it was helpful! Yes this is correct. When you land exit terminal a in follow signs to terminal C. You will then get on a tram that will take you to terminal C, it is a separate location. There is a separate set of security that you will need to go through to access the gates at terminal C. That is where you can find your jet blue gate! Does that help or makes sense? I hope you have a great trip and flight! 😃

Currently a Brit on a family holiday in the U.S. I flew through here yesterday and I was not impressed. Very difficult to navigate. I was flying Delta to New York via terminal B. However on arrival at B, the airport signs seem to be intent on showing people what flights are going out of terminal A, as opposed to giving directions for the flight desks that actually go from that terminal itself.😡 Also the internal train that takes you to gates 70 to 90 has people boarding on the same side as people disembarking. Like a normal passenger station train. You can imagine the slight chaos with all the luggage people are carrying. 😡 At all other airports I've travelled through, passengers disembark through the left set of doors and once they're almost completely done, the boarding starts from the right hand side. MCO management need to go and see Amsterdam Schipol or Munich to see how a proper airport runs.
