MJ you’re the man, I love all your tanks and videos. But I feel like I should share with you if you’re running a no filter tank setup and you’re needing to do water changes, you don’t have enough biodiversity to keep up with your bioload. 50% is waaay too much, in fact you could never change it all and it would be fine, but only if you have sufficient biodiversity🧐

Hi Mark, your tolerance of Duckweed I understand, it can be a saving plant when there is a real water problem, but eliminating it can be bothersome and time consuming and in an established aquarium it really can become a nuisance - a short holiday and you come back to a 5 cm layer on the top, dead plants and high CO2 and distressed fish. A skimmer (not all brands) can help once most is removed, but in my experience it tends to take months and months in a larger tank to eradicate. Thanks again.

Alvast bedank Groet
@MJAquascaping2 жыл бұрын
Hey Patrick!
@patrickufkes2 жыл бұрын
