Yoo Steve, I was thinking about this method as well man, bc i saw there was no bouncing back and that volume was huge. So i predicted people would be hyped and push it up as much as possible, since it passed the resistance especially when it was over 11am, the most crowded time zone to trade, and still pushing higher . That why I was patient for the squeeze and has made profit as well.

Thanks for the tipps! I dont understand why Floatroatation is so important, whats the difference between 10x Floatroatation and 20x Floatroatation? And would you enter/buy after resistance (in your example ~6$) became new support or before, because you already know its very likely to break the previous resistance due to the Volume.
@jennatolls61214 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure full rotations are really good ways to see if the stock is volatile or has a chance of going up or down with panic. I honestly don't know but just watching Dux he uses human psychology within volume trade and can predict how people will buy and sell in a big share rotation.
@promatqas4 жыл бұрын
@@jennatolls6121 after watching dux's blessed vids I can tell you... Let's say float is 2mil and volume is 10 mill in one day. The float has rotated 5 times. Each time it rotates new buyers and sellers come in allowing more scope for potential movements. Its known that if the float has rotated 2-3 times it's a bullish sign. However if it's rotated 10-15 something technical called buyer insufficiency occurs. 20 rotates and it's crowded and risky to trade. I am still learning hope this helps :)
@whenrickywasalive11154 жыл бұрын
Float is the number of shares available to trade at a given time. So to answer your question, Think of 10x Float Rotation like a piece of CAKE (CAKE A) with 10 slices and 20x Float Rotation a CAKE (CAKE B) with 20 slices. CAKE A is in Room 1 and Cake B is in Room 2. Let say you have 15 hungry Cake Lovers (Day Traders). You put all 15 of them in Room 1. Only 10 of them will eat and 5 will not. You put all 15 of them in Room 2 and all 15 of them will eat and 5 slice with remain. Therefore float rotation is important because it helps you understand the supply and demand of a particular stocks. The more it rotates the more its in demand, the faster it more , the wider the spread, the more volatile etc. 10 Million volume with 5 Million float means the total number of shares(5 million) have gone back and forth between buyers and sellers 2 times(Float rotation) I hope this help to answer your question.
@FreeWorldQueen4 жыл бұрын
@@whenrickywasalive1115 what's not being said here is you have to also know how many hungry day traders are in either room on either day you choose to trade (volume) - so that's a big part of Dux's vid here, volume prediction.

I’ve heard Steve talk about float rotation in his videos but he never specifically says what the impact is when this happens. So can you, Steve, or someone reading this tell me what influence or outcome or impact on a stock a float rotation does? I assume that a float rotation is demand outdoing supply but what impact does that have on a stock? Does it drive the price up only or down only?
@MiguelCardenas-xu2dw4 жыл бұрын
Lets start by the fact that the principle on the Bounce Short strategy or shorting onto a major resistance level, is that there are many people who traded at that level and we know most are buyers and many are still stuck in this level (we call these bag-holders). Now bare with me, float rotation is just the (estimated Volume)/ float and the volume only means the number of shares traded, these can be bought or sold so it is not exactly proportional to the demand outdoing the supply, it is just shares changing hands again and again and again. Now, in a float rotation case the shares changing owners happens so fast and repetitively that now the ones trapped at the resistance level are not that important and wont imply that the price will go down once it hits the resistance level. We know that the maximum number of shares that could be held at this resistance would be equal to the float, and once the volume is so big that the float rotates, the volume at the resistance becomes of less relevance. Hope it helps!

@@chidionoh I was short around that $4-5 area. I managed to cut my loss quickly but the good old revenge trading and the inability to accept the loss got to me. More particularly, I was on a hot green day streak and this played with my mind in the sense that I did not want to "end" this run. Long story short, I kept adding to my losing position and it kept squeezing against me until I got blown. Key take away is you can't allow yourself to be conquered by your emotions and have to work in harmony with them. Easier said than done I guess but the journey of self discovery is an amazing thing in this game. I shall return better than ever ;)
