I had one encounter in Hua Hin near Bangkok. There is a viewpoint you can visit which also is a popular spot for gay men to meet up and go about their business. I wasn't aware of that and made eye contact with a dude there, just trying to be friendly. I was alone and he followed me around, then later touched my arm and I had to tell him to f off. It was a misunderstanding.

this is very common for abandoned buildings in Thailands overgrown bush… lots of European men will frequent the spots looking for local guys so its easy to see he clearly mistook you as being another farang up for a day of cruising, simply using his phone to translate “im not looking for s3x” and he would have left a little embarrassed… you can be creeped out all you want but branding him as the creep in his local and frequent area is just negative on your behalf…

#3 We can get a case of Kirkland water bottles for about $4. or 10 cents each. In Oregon State, you pay a 10 cents deposit on all water and pop cans. You get this back when you return the scrap to be recycled. I save all our bottles and cans, stomp them flat and take them to our Son who lives in Vancouver, Wash. which is just across the Columbia River from Oregon. Ryan will take what I bring to his friend at work, that guy will cash it in and buy snacks for the folks in their office. When we were down visiting last month, I woke up at 3am to a noise out front. It sounded like someone dumping cans into a container. I looked out the window and a guy with one of the head lights you can slip on. Ryan said folks go through the recycle bins the night before the pick up the next day looking for plastic water bottles and pop cans. Every 10 cans or bottles is $1. If you need extra money and are willing to do the work, I imagine you can make a good amount in a week. Every housing area has a different garbage pick up day.

You know I think you're great but you know in the beginning of this video you said this is what I love about Thailand is you just pointed the scooter in a direction and you find the best stuff and then you show this😮 kind of defeats what you said don't you think😮 personally I think you got so lucky. I've watched the travel horror stories where they get on the back of the bike or motorcycle or scooter and then they put a knife at your belly it doesn't give you a whole lot of options now does it. Yeah terrible … I stopped drinking all that free / cheap alcohol years ago. In Phuket in 2014 I got poisoned and it did some damage to my brain (maybe why I am like I am today) but it was horrible, ever since then I stay away from free shots and buckets and super cheap cocktails … so many dodgy places around Asia that do this. Maybe hire a Thai girlfriend, and you two can team up to make some travel videos with some spicy Thai food in them, then it would be more interesting.
