As many of you have made me aware, the brand I promoted in this video has been exposed to be a scam (or at best, very very misleading). This is obviously a massive failing by me and me alone for endorsing a dishonest product like this and I've removed the sponsored portion from this video. I’m sorry for promoting what is essentially grift and apologize to anyone that gave this brand money because they trusted my word.

Moose really do have no fear. I was in the mountains of Montana a few months ago flying my drone around trying to get cool nature shots. I found a moose feeding at the edge of a lake and flew up to it to get a closer look. Most animals either ignore drones or run away, but this thing legitimately charged straight at it. I didn't stand my ground even when I was in the air 😂

Hey brah, this video actually saved my life today. I'm a delivery driver and I got caught by a rock/Kevin hart combo, a husky and a chihuahua. Both were unleashed, snarling, growling, barking at me. The husky kept on making false charges at me like the cougar did, and I actually watched this video a few nights ago so I applied the same advice, back away slowly, don't turn your back to it, ect, and managed to somehow not get bit! One black man to another, your videos are a gift to the world, entertaining, funny, but full of mad knowledge. I'd love I you'd continue this series of videos, it will probably help many people not get collected. Much respect homie, keep up the good work!

Of all the Creatures upon this Good Earth , I fear Humans above any other . I have seen Bears , Coyotes ,and have had run ins with Dogs. It may seem odd to fear One's own Species but frankly , I would rather deal with some wild animal than a Human who is bent on causing me harm. Less than a day before making this comment, I was startled by this random Guy standing in some bushes as I walked by and only noticed Him as I came right up on Him. It was fairly dark and He was also in the shadows by some trees/bushes. In an instant ,I sized Him up, not knowing if He was a threat ,assessed His stature so I could be prepared to defend myself . I noticed that He was a burly ,quite tall ,young ( mid 20s by how He appeared ) ,muscular Guy who was an otherwise decent enough looking Guy but sketchy because of where He was and how I suddenly noticed Him just a few feet from me . I try to look for weaknesses or vulnerabilities as part of "prepping for defense " . I am not one to fight dirty , however ,if He had intentions to "make me into a past tense " , I would have resort to " radically changing His plans for fatherhood " by kicking Him in "the Family Jewels " and then make like a tree and leave . Like I said, I hate dirty fighting but if the only way to avoid becoming "was" is to deflate some Guy's 🏈🏈then it's only necessary . I probably startled him equally as badly but WHY was He randomly there . I did ask why in a somewhat startled voice , and He said something about phone reception . I will add here that where He was is in a small ravine surrounded by trees with the higher side side going up to a parking lot so cell phone reception is patchy at best if any service at all . He would get much better reception in the parking lot than WHERE He was standing .I had to walk back past where that Guy was and I definitely was on the lookout . I didn't see Him again and I was honestly relieved about it too . I dislike strongly being caught off guard by random Humans.

The fact that she lived proves hippos are scary. Why? Since she lived, that hippo didn't attack to kill, just attacked to make her stop provoking it... and a hippo can be provoked just by being within attack range. Oh, and don't fret. Hippos kill more of their young than people... a huge reason mother hippos really keep their spawn close by while being super-aggressive protectors of them. I guess evolution has an omega-level cost for being the living version of an armored vehicle.

That part about humans really makes me realize how brutal humans actually are. If any other animal hunted us down and tried to slaughter all of us because we killed one of them, we would consider that the scariest species on the planet, and avoid them like the plague, and think of then as absolute terrors. He's not focusing directly on you to figure out solutions to any difficulties you're having. Yes we have very serious systemic failures in our education system, but those are by design. A certain political party in the US has wanted to destroy public education since it began in this country. And guess what, they're winning. So just remember, when you think of the US education system, know that its failings are purposeful, through gutting, kneecapping, a shot to the head and a shit on the chest for good measure. Oh, and don't forget that most kids in the US have zero urge to learn and purposefully give the teachers shit. I blame that on the parents.

So.. with cougars. For young ones, if they know that you know they’re there, they may end up being just curious. A few years ago, I got firsthand experience with this. Walking home at around midnight, and got this feeling I was being watched. So I started talking, and singing. And looked around. No more than ten feet away, there she was. A young adult cougar. She was crouched down, but her ears were up, and her head was cocked a little to one side. When I said “Hello sweetheart.” She sat up. I kept my eyes on her paws, not her face. “I’m just heading home. You’re a beautiful kitten.” And backed up. The little girl followed along! She was relaxed and kept getting close, as in… if I wanted to, I could have pet her! The whole 2km walk, she did this. She never once looked like she was going to attack, she was just curious. I called it in once I got home, to let Park and Wildlife know that “Hey, there’s a youngish cougar in this specific area. Here’s her size, some clear marks- how do I know she’s a girl? She just walked me home. She’s curious, but I really don’t want her to get hurt.” She was safely caught and moved to a sanctuary, since she was way too comfortable around humans. Very pretty little girl, really

They also don't actually have any authority to grant a title of laird, lord, or lady. The souvenir plots don't actually qualify as property, because they are too small to be of practical use, and cannot be registered. There are a ton of other issues. The last commentary was probably the most true in a long list of true things. Fun story that I heard about a week ago. Sometime in the not-so-distant past, two guys were up boating in the arctic circle. You already should know where this story is going. Anyway.........they miscalculated and hit ice, hard enough to damage their boat. As the boat started to sink, they sent out a mayday and made it to an iceflow. Help was on the way, so they just waited. While waiting, way off in the distance, they thought they saw movement, but then it disappeared. After a bit, they saw movement again, but again, it disappeared. After some time, they came to understand a polar bear caught their scent, was walking on iceflows, then jumping into the water and swimming to the next piece of ice. They knew what was coming, and it did. The polar bear made his choice of entree, and one guy survived. Worst way to die.

As a person that grew up in Alaska it always rly annoyed me when we had tourist in our town that said things like "I can't wait to see a moose, they must be so fluffy." Like no, don't go out into the woods without a professional guide or someone who grew up in the area and knows how to deal with the environment and the animals that live in it (Also it amazes me that some people still think moose are the sizes of deer 🧍‍♀️

the city moose that I've seen in Anchorage, wasilla and Palmer aren't really aggressive unless they get cornered and are scared. They mostly just hang out and ignore you. The moose that live in the Anchorage bowl only breed with the other City moose for the most part and are different and distinct genetic lines from the non-urban moose in the surrounding wilderness. Moose are everywhere up here. And if you live here and drive very much at all outside of the city you'll probably hit one. They have no respect at all for traffic. My friend totaled her little car by driving over one just last month while I was in the passenger seat. And less than a year ago I almost hit one but I slowed down right at the last instant and it turned its head so that it missed all of my truck and after I passed it it turned its head back and it's horn scratched and slightly dented the back of my tail gate. We have a roadkill list up here, you have to have four people. Then they call you and you go pick up your moose. That's how real alaskans hunt! Lol! I am joking but I am not kidding.

When my parents bought their house, back when I was 8ish, they were told to 100% keep the ladder nailed to the back of the shed in case we need a quick escape from a moose. Apparently, the previous home owners teens spent a decent amount of time up there while a moose stalked around after charging them. We never had a problem with them though. We saw them around, but always tried to give a healthy 100+ feet distance, and stayed still and quiet. They paired us no mind.

We had one mama, who would always have twins. She liked hanging out at the pond. I liked watching them play from the treehouse, on top of a very steep, very brush covered hill. Calm, quiet, still, and lots of personal space, seemed to work. I like to think she was used to us. My dad was always good at making moose noises to settle them, or to call the deer over the hill. He still has a herd of some 30 some elk who stop through the yard every morning and say hi to him, and a mama deer who spends nights in the orchard because she knows it's safe. I think she hides the fawns under the old treehouse periodically.

NoSleep had a story where the main character spoke friendly, slowly, and softly to a grizzly while slowly putting things on the ground and then backing up. This theoretically makes the bear curious in the thing you put down while also not seeming like a threat. Keep putting things down while backing up until you can get into a car or house or anywhere the bear can't break in. Not sure if it'll work, but if you're already near a grizzly, you need all the help you can get.

Actually, there are two great ways to survive humans: join their team or be super chill. Sure, they might breed your descendants into pugs or munchkins, or eat them, but they'll definitely fight your extinction after you join, or if you go the quokka or capybara route, they'll take extra effort to preserve your home, maybe even give you some new digs without the spectacle.

“Ears pinned back…” So true, if a horse flattens its ears on it neck…it’s irritated or afraid it might need to fight and best to back off. I have seen people ignore this and get bitten. Also try to avoid walking behind a horse - they generally don’t do anything to hurt people, but if startled or a horse they don’t like goes by, getting kicked is like having a weight lifter swing a club tipped with a stone at you.

yeah, tho sometimes the horse will give you the courtesy of a warning kick, these arent gonna seriously injure you, but don't try ur luck theres a horse i work with named boomerang, he's small, but he overcompensates by being absolutely ruthless, his ears are constantly pinned to the neck as if you used superglue, whenever you groom him, he'll try to fake-bite you in the ass when you bend over, he'll do warning kicks every time you do a wrong move he always intentionally misses his bites, unless its another male horse, then he goes all-in, or its diane, who's the only horse i'm sacred of, and he is too (he tried to flirt with her once, it didnt end well for him), she actively enjoys biting children and unsuspecting staff members and you see how smug she is, oh, and she is the 3rd fastest horse we got, used to be a racehorse, but she had a minor leg injury, nothing critical, but it just meant you cannot work too hard with her,if u do, she'll throw you into the stratosphere, she kicked me once, i was new back then and underestimated her reach, somehow im still alive despite being hit by a fuckin horse kick, idk how, still have a nasty scar even tho it was a few years ago now boomerang doesnt have his balls (he doesnt know it, and he acts as if he has them), if he had he'd be 1000 times worse now if you approach him with confidence and give him a good scratch behind the ears he instantly calms down, just don't show fear, cuz if ur scared, he wins theres an identical looking horse named marco, he's a sweetheart, very affectionate and overall really chill, until you put him anywhere near the horses he personally knows (zeus, zoro and speedy), cuz he'll raise hell, case in point: zeus, who's twice as large as marco, has a scar in his neck from these fights, from his body language, marco's just playing, but he plays rough the thing is marco looks identical to boomerang, like a carbon copy, and if you mistake between the two, you'll lose a finger or smth, but marco never pins his ears, which is how i tell the difference

I really appreciated the last addition of "how to survive a human". When I've heard people describe how to survive crossing paths with gangbangers or otherwise territorial people, you have to both show that you are respectable (not cower or show weakness) AND you have to still show a modicum of respect back to them in turn. Being human is a balancing act of being respectable and showing respect.
