Our first controller "La Sensible" is a complete mistake. Like, every part of it is done the wrong way. After that, the list is endless. Failed PCB designs, wrong millimeters on case prototypes, miscalculated component dimensions, wrong unit conversions when designing, missing wholes when laser cutting because they were in the wrong Illustrator layer, several mistakes while designing 2+ layer PCBs because of layer inverted orientations, and a million more. Doing it wrong is sometimes the only way to really learn something, and you possibly saved some steps for many with these tips. Thanks for making me think about mistakes, there have been so many! And thanks for sharing yours :)

It's so painful when they happen, but when we see behind is such a beautiful journey. And yeah, this video doesn't even touch the surface of all the mistakes I made... :p And I'm completely in love and mind blown by your new modular controller. That's FUCKING PRO STUFF.

I'm about to start work on my first (and fairly ambitious) MIDI controller. Your channel is the most helpful thing I've found! Thank you.

ik this is a really old video, but I do have some decent experience with 3d printers, if you need to join 3d prints, my reccomendation is to get an old soldering iron if you have one, or just order a really cheap one, get a chisel tip on it, and press it into the 2 pieces of plastic, while it's heated of course. Frankly built has a video on it. Very very solid way to get parts joined,
