Hi, last day I just lost the chance to become my House captain. And I cried. I watched your video. I'm not longer regretting about giving it up to another friend. Thank you💗.

Agreed, after being made redundant from a Tech company I have been looking for a part time job and spending the rest of my time trying to help my parents. I’ve got into cooking and trying my best to help my mum in the kitchen. My dad is also diabetic where he never learnt how to cook for himself. I am trying to find ways to get more protein in my dad’s diet as well as teaching him how to do it. I want to use this time to try and make healthy foods in the fridge for my family and later when I have a full time job I will find a way to make this a habitual habit so I can balance both taking care of my families nutrition needs and making money. I may not be prioritising the right thing, but I just feel like once I go back to work the stress of a job can be overwhelming and I may not care as much to invest time and effort into other ways. I hope to be good enough to do it all x

Thank you for sharing. I believe you're totally prioritizing the right things, given that you still have the financial capabilities to support your lifestyle(s). You sound like a really caring and considerate person. Wishing you all the best.

This video was truly an eye opener. I have also watched the Puss in Boots movie and it was more meaningful than I expected. Watching "kids" movies/shows as an older person really hits different because you can more easily identify the hidden messages they contain.

Great video, Amy. You know, another movie that comes to my mind when it comes to the question "what is the essence of life?" is Pixar's Soul. Watching it was the first thing I did in 2021, and it was so profoundly therapeutic after a mess of a year that was 2020. I remember jotting down in my review of Soul that the essence of a fulfilled life doesn't necessarily have to do with great achievements, your career ambitions, etc.; it's about enjoying the simple things in life. I consistently find myself being kinda hypocritical when I wrote this because I am someone who struggles to fully accept the facts that an ordinary life is OK, that I have to be a significant figure in multiple areas in order not to embarrass myself in front of families and friends and that I am enjoying what I deserve in my life (consistently feeling that I never did enough to be remarkable, to stand out; feeling like I'm already lagging behind when someone else plans out when they were 9 or 10 years old about what they want to do in future and all activities and skillset that would attract Ivy League schools' admission officers). Often times, that type of compulsion made me feel unhappy and depressed. I guess I just move on, as of right now, and I think I may truly embrace the notion of "enjoying little things" to get a quality life in the future as I experience more.

WAMMMMYYYYY!!! i have been watching you CONSTANTLY (literally every 'downtime' I have) for the past few months. you are the first online personality that really pushed me to my limits. pls pls don't stop making videos!! I have a recommendation, uhm can you make a video about what to do when you suddenly or unexpectedly get out of your productive routine or lose momentum, what mindsets and actions should you have to avoid negativity and heavy self-regret, and what to do to get to your routine ASAP. I struggle with this. even when I get back to my routine, I can't help to think about the hours/day that I 'wasted'. THANK YOU I LOVE U WITH ALL OF MY HEART !!!

“self-development” for teenagers is literally just “development” 😹 like none of us know who we are yet how are we supposed to improve on such a flowing base?
