My name is John. How can I assist you today? Maria: Hi John, I'm Maria. I’d like to open a checking and savings account. John: Sure, Maria. I will need to see your identification and proof of address. Do you have those documents with you? Maria: Yes, I have my passport and a utility bill. John: Perfect. Let me explain the process. First, we'll fill out an application form. Then, I'll need your signature on a few documents. After that, you'll receive your account numbers and a temporary debit card. Maria: Sounds good. What are the benefits of having a checking account and a savings account? John: A checking account is for daily transactions, like paying bills and making purchases. A savings account is for saving money and earning interest over time. It’s a good idea to have both. Maria: I see. Let's go ahead with both accounts then.
