Pull the small metal connector attached to it first. It locks the plug in place. Once thats pulled back (dont try to remove it, just pull) you can unplug the battery.

Yes, there are 3 different sizes and one of the corner screws does *not* come out on purpose.

yes it is possible, your processor supports 5600mhz ddr5. the 7735hs doesn't support 5600mhz. the only reason why asus put a 4800mhz in your laptop is because the price is cheap.

@@enricooliva8762there are a few 6000 cl38 sodimm kits that are like 10-20 bucks more than the standard 5600 cl40… if you get lucky it will enable 5600cl36 or 5600cl38 xmp which is much faster than the standard 5600cl40 jedec

I have the same model. Could you do a keyboard video? I dont know my power button is so hard to turn on. I need to press it or hold it in order to turn on. I wanna try and clean the power button. But i think i have the a15 2022 model since i bought it around october 2022 8gb ram ddr5 i upgraded it to 24gb ram and hoping to add more ssd since it already has 500gb of built in ssd. @adwaidnair2018 - From my personal experience with a similar laptop model, you can always use liquid metal on a laptop; in fact, given that they don't have IHS - the little metal cover thing on top of most available CPUs - using liquid metal is easier on a laptop CPU than on a desktop version. Furthermore, there is no need to delid the processor, and current laptops run HOT and in a rather small and poorly ventilated environment, so using liquid metal is preferable, but you'll need to take a few precautions: 1) get conformal coating (thermalgrizzly's TG conformal coating) and apply it on all the nearby resistors that might be exposed to liquid metal in case of a spill-over, and 2) replace all of the crappy thermal pads with COMPUTERSYSTEMS K5-PRO or UPSIREN U6 Pro. Thermal putty is infinitely superior to thermal pads in both contact and heat dissipation. I hope this helps

yours is only gen 3. you can use gen 4 SSD but you're just wasting your money because the laptop won't be able to utilize gen 4 speed. you will stuck at gen 3 speed.

by just looking at the size of the heatsink, I can tell it won't fit. most laptops won't be able to use SSD with heatsink thicker than 3mm. SSDs with heatsink are created for desktop PC.

@@arsharizalamirariff6137 it's simply because the manufacturer (asus) doesn't have the needs to conduct tests to that extend. ram is not cheap and they don't test 5-10 laptops at a time, they test hundreds of laptop at a time. However, nowadays there is a need to test up to 128gb of ram and these are for selected products only. you'll be fine if you follow the cpu manufacturer's specs

That's why going for 64gb should be done with ram manufacturers that have 64gb sets for this laptop, as they will help you if something doesn't work, Asus won't

@@sanada-vkk3315 Or you can always "downgrade" to a dual channel 32 gigabyte configuration. One thing every geek should know is to get dual rank modules too. It may not be a huge difference, but a dual rank RAM stick is 5 to 7% faster than a single rank version. Whichever way you choose to go, always get the sticks from the same vendor. If you're going with Corsair, SK Hynix, Samsung, or whatever, make sure that they're both Corsair, Samsung and so forth. There are tiny timing differences that may lead to a less-than-optimal performace if you get two technically identical sticks from two different manufacturers. Don't forget to get the EXPO versions for your AMD systems and your XMP counterparts for Intel-based systems, otherwise you'll get a blue screen of death!
