The list loads quite slow, over that portion, but you have to be patient there and wait for it to load. Every bank of India is listed. Either wait, or scroll manually to "H" and you will see list of banks starting with H, you can choose that manually.

So you created a GIC of $10,000 in 2023, then you would have to cancel it. The process is that you to email cibc bank and let them know your situation and they will cancel your old GIC, and then once its done. Create a new GIC of $20,635, and that's all. Nope, you don't have to pay 5% TCS. It will not be applicable for you, as you are transferring money inside India. There is a tie-up between Standard Chartered India and CIBC, you just have to transfer according to your payment instruction letter. Rest bank will take care of everything. Also, let me tell you what TCS means - Tax collection at Source. Now, here you don't have to pay anything in Advance. TCS is only applicable to those, who buy forex in India, then send it to Canada (Abroad) and if TCS was applicable, you would have to pay in TAX in advance and later claim it while filing tax. - But, in your case, which I have explained in the video - You don't have to pay TCS. Using this method - No. You don't have to any taxes. Agent will try their maximum to fetch maximum money from you. If you are here, watch the video, till the end, do the steps yourself. You don't have to pay any taxes in the method I showed you because here you are transferring money Inside India and you are NOT transferring money directly to Canada because you are doing a NEFT/RTGS transfer which is sending money inside India. You only have to pay TCS, when you you purchase dollars, then send it to Canada. In the process I have shown, CIBC Bank and Standard Chartered Bank have a partnership, you just have to transfer money to them according to your payment letter, and rest is up to them.
