How to Open Heavy Pit Lids

Nice work mate. I noticed at the start you had WD40 there, can I ask what do you use that for? I'm gueesing maybe tight pits, but how do you do it?

Cheers mate! A little penetrate goes a long way. Hitting the pit edges a few minutes before opening makes popping tight lids a whole lot easier. Hitting them the day before is even better on a big job which we might do over a few days
