Yeah, there’s plenty battery replacements on ebay, just search “oralb replacement battery”, it’s usually 42x17mm i think. You need to make sure you put the same type of battery.

Nope. It may work like this when it is fairly new, but what actually happened is the plastic at the neck went crunch when trying to twist it out. Had to dig a screwdriver down the side and pry it out, the top section launched out at a hundred miles an hour and the little gear mechanism was in separate pieces. No loss anyway as it is all slimy and rusty inside. Either water got in or battery acid got out. Thanks for the guide in any case.

The toothbrush on the video is ~7 years old. You can use a piece of cloth between the pliers and the plastic if it’s slippery or grinded. It really sounds strange that there was water or acid inside 😅 - i guess that toothbrush was quite mistreated!

To bad the video does not actually show how to get it out. The video I get shows the bottom half of the tooth brush. I can’t move it up enough to see what you are actually doing.
