How to open up a glass tube, or other hollow glass thing.

So this is probably one of the first things that you learn in lamp working, or glassblowing. I had done a stream awhile ago, and another glass worker had mentioned a way of opening up a glass tube that he had not seen before. After describing it, I realized it was the first way I had learned, and i had assumed that everyone knew how. So I tried to think of as many ways to open something hollow up. As I like to say, there are many ways of doing things, these are only the ways I can think of. Please let me know if there are any I missed and I will make a second video.

I wish I could see most of the video. I have my screen as bright as it can go, but you keep darkening the video to the point of uselessness. Why do you do that?

Because I'm using a special filter to cut out the sodium flare so that you can see what is happening in the flame
