What kind of glass is your 4mm rod made of? Is there an ideal type of glass to use for this process?

I wish I could see most of the video. I have my screen as bright as it can go, but you keep darkening the video to the point of uselessness. Why do you do that?

Because I'm using a special filter to cut out the sodium flare so that you can see what is happening in the flame
