came across your video tying to see how to open it. turns out for me the fuse on the motherboard is dead, when i bridged the legs the white light came on.

hmm I'll give that a try. I still have it luckily. I did pick up a volt meter and it looks like the board gets power to some parts. That's about as far as I went. Thanks for the tip!

Cool teardown. It's even smaller inside. Hopefully you got it fixed. Mine still works, I don't use it as much though.

I wish I could have. I know the board gets power that as far as I can test it. I'm wondering if someone hard bricked it. I've been thinking about seeing if the Ifix it guy wants it for a video but I don't know if he'd really want to do a fix it video on the PSTV. Never hurts to ask though.

Totally agree with you! It's still one of my favorite way to play Vita games. The stand is from Rose Colored Gaming. rosecoloredgaming.com/ They have stands for almost all consoles and more. Prices are decent as well.

it could be the barrel plug metal inside where the plug connects for power is not making contact which can make it seem like its not working. Mine got pushed in too far on the left side and it no longer get power to the board.

Thanks for the idea! I did recently try to bend that metal pin in there back and it looks like the board gets power from what the volt meter says. It still doesn't turn on sadly. I might need to watch a few iFixit videos and teach myself how to test the smaller components/replace them if needed.

A mi me demora en reconocer los mandos osea conecto al puerto usb de la psvita tv pero al presionar el botón PS del mando ps4 no lo reconoce la psvita tv y tengo q estar intentando un millón d veces y ahí lo reconoce y cuando lo apago y vuelvo a prender para ver si la puedo hackear vuelve a lo mismo no la puedo emparejar con el mando d ps4 original
