I learn a lot from Tim too, but I also learn from you. You did a video on using the backhoe that really helped a lot. The advice of putting it in 4WD so the brakes stop all four wheels, how to use the outriggers to stabilize rather than lift the tractor. Really helpful advice. Thank you, and congrats on the grapple.

Nice demo of what a grapple can do, I love my grapple so handy for a lot of jobs around the yard, also shows how handy to have 2 tractors to do different jobs at the same time, as always nice video Tony. stay healthy my friend.

No, if anything I will get a backhoe for the T264. TYM Tractors is letting me Demo the T474 Tractor Loader Backhoe. It is a beast, and a man can always use two tractors.

Thats very impressive Tony. Rufus is pretty peppy, reminds me of a red roan work horse my dad used to have. He was "old school" and always had horses. The little red roan was his favorite. Wasn't very big but could pull just about anything a big horse could pull. Looking forward to part two. Stay dry and get your energy up, thats a lot of Oak tree to clean up.

My grapple attachment has become one of my most used attachments. It has grappled out brush and down trees, moved chunks of concrete, bricks, and blocks, and used it to grapple and move old tractor attachments. One thing you might consider is fabricating a brush guard for the grill. I welded expanded metal across the brush guard that came with the tractor to help protect the radiator from the sticks/limps that try to get in there when you grappling.

I learned a good bit from this -- thanks! I've actually purchased a Brush Crusher (hydraulics-free grapple), and have played with it a little, but am still learning how to manipulate it. One issue for me is that I'm dumping brush into what has become a pretty huge burn pile, and the lower teeth aren't opening wide enough to drop the load because the loader is already so high when I release it. I know I have another level or two to adjust the back stop, so that's the next step. I'm getting the hang of it, and it sure is handy to have. Again, great job on the video -- liked and subscribed!

The 205 pound Worksaver grapple is a perfect match for the TYM T264 and smaller tractors. It is strong enough, but light enough to be useful. I see so many people go out and buy 400 pound grapples for their subcompact. They use all of their useful load on the weight of the grapple. Have a great week.
@BiffsEquipment

Tony's Tractor Adventure I couldn’t agree more! Yah a 250lb grapple would be about my limit for a sub-compact like the bx and I think that’s what the artillian grapple weighs.. I debated getting theirs as I also need a new set of pallet forks (got rid of my old set) though I havnt quite decided on which grapple I want yet. I’ll def check out the worksaver thanks!

The Kukje engines are actually Cummins engines (fact check it). In 2002 Kukje partnered with Cummins to build engines for them. That’s why the Kukje engines are outstanding engines. I think you need a bigger tractor.

Tony Did you happen to have a ballast box instead of the tiller I tend to hit stuff with my back door of my tiller going backwards . I have made up a ballast box out of a 55 gallon plastic barrel and and it works great will not rust full of cement. Pick up two 7/8 pins from Tractor Supply welded a piece of angle iron in the center before adding cement about 800 lb. Also put two 3" PVC pipes to hold yard tools in cement to the bottom. I prefer the double grapple top
@TonysTractorAdventure

You may not necessarily need to get one longer hose made. Perhaps a shorter one like an extension should work. It does mean another fitting but it should work.

Question: when you take the grapple off the tractor, where do you store it? Do you lay it down does it stay have a stand?

There are legs that pin up when not in uses. Pin them down and the grapple can be set on the ground on it own.

The T264 is not big enough to damage most grapples. Homestead makes a great one out of super strong steal. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4XMXmx8bMl8mK8

I like you and your videos and have watched them most the day while I try to do computer work. You have convinced me I need a grapple. But I have to say, a simple hand axe around the base of that stubborn tree to cut the roots would have taken about 5 minutes of work before you just pulled it out of the ground with your tractor and a rope. How much total time did it take with your two tractors and three attachments to take it down?
@TonysTractorAdventure

Each tree is different. You can pull and cut on a small tree for hours. Some trees come out in seconds. I am also against manual labor. 😃

This is not what I thought it was. Just got my third function installed and attached the grapple to my RK 55. I have no idea how to open or close the grapple. Nothing I do opens the grapple. In the process of that one of the grapple hoses just starts squirting out fluid so now I have to deal with that. .

@@TonysTractorAdventure I apparently need to work on my speed. My tractor was delivered yesterday. It took much longer than that for me to swap out any of the implements. There were 2 guys delivering. They took the backhoe off - so I could use the bush hog - and it took them about 50 minutes - to only remove the backhoe. After seeing that - I do not want to know how long it takes to line it up - to get it back on. It would be great if you created some detailed videos - on hooking things up - and unhooking them.

I can take the backhoe in 5 minutes. I can put it back on in 5-7 minutes. I mean this in a humble way. Just because they delivered it doesn't make them operators. You will get better with time. You will learn tricks.

They vanished! We have found a brand in TYM Tractors that we can get behind for the long term. TYM is a profitable company that will be around for years to come, and they stand behind their product. They are demonstrating tractors on our channel and letting us work them showing just what they are made of. We bought a TYM T264 because we liked it so much after we demo one on the channel.
