I just received a new logic board, the bit that fits in the head, last month. I think the original was for the Polish market. Anyway they emailed to say new stock was arriving about 8 months ago and last month out of the blue a new board. The only thing I haven't tested is the voice command. I finished the model June last year, it would have beèn earlier but I spent most of May in hospital.

I built this first time round as well. I have trouble with its head turning and not stopping properly but I’ve not pair of mine up for years now I’ve taken the battery out

Loved this build but sadly I’m stuck six stages from the end. They keep telling me it will come and never does. Been waiting three months. After a two year build it’s beyond frustrating. Sad because I loved the build.

Hi rubio. Believe me I know exactly how you feel, I had same problem with just two issues to go! Listen, be patient they will turn up eventually, mine took about five mths😮 In an ideal world we would get everything on time! But at moment it's not in ideal world mode, with shipping problems being the main culprit. What I advise you to do rubio as with other people this close to finish is keep sending Fanhome gentle reminders every two weeks, I ended up speaking to an advisor and explained how it feels, but really they can do nothing other than forward our concerns to management . But it's worth the wait mate, I promise you that. Thanks Wayne for refresher😊❤

I rarely turn my R2-D2 on as well which is ironic after all the hassle of getting him built. How long do the batteries last if they're not used for long periods of time?

Yeah, I think I'll build another one. For some reason my light sabre won't eject (i think I know why) and the long LED doesn't work That light sabre eject mechanism has a weak point at the bottom, where the wires attach. As the head rotates it can be damaged by the internal frame. I know, I could remove the head and troubleshoot...but when I do the second build I'll try then.

I had the same problem and tried Wayne's solution but it failed. I sent a message to Fanhome and they sent me a replacement from the that stage free of charge. I bent the connection to the microswitch and that has solved it. Hope this helps.

I had to buy the main logic board from Japan as after 3 years Deagostini’s did not send it to me and after years of complaining they sent the wrong board so gave up and bought it abroad
