You could have also mentioned optimizations to take care of while writing CSS. For example: keep the selector chain short, perhaps by using a convention like BEM.

How is the FontFaceObserver example different from just normally importing the font in ? In both cases, there will be FOUT. I think that package should be used for cases when you wanna delay appending to DOM until font dependency is resolved. @chirag

I am primarly interested in frontend development, but after getting rejected in coding rounds of several companies like amazon, juspay, cisco I began competitve coding , dsa algo but after 3 months I realized I have loosed grip over frontend technologies, there are so much things which have been changed , we are using RTK, RTK query for implementing redux part, There's a new version of react router , I couldn't learn things which were on my check list like PWA, webrtc 🥲 , Am I going In right direction ? plz anyone help !

bro don't worry about new stuff it will keep coming out if you are in college you have time don't panic , learn what you really like if you dont like to do competitive dont do it only do it enough to pass the DS round

Always have a strong foundation knowledge, the rest is toppings and you can learn based on requirements. But you keep yourself updated with the latest terminologies/tech so that you can make better choices at the time of implementation.
