Can you use a Cricut heat press for DTF?
@HeyLetsMakeStuff9 ай бұрын
It's not recommended. You really need firm, even pressure and when I tried my EasyPress, I didn't think I got quite the adhesion that I did with my big press.

How well does this hold up. I want to start a t-shirt business.
@HeyLetsMakeStuff9 ай бұрын
It holds up SO well and definitely is great for small businesses. 50 - 100 washes.

I already have my logo, how can I have it printed so I can press it on my shirts.
@HeyLetsMakeStuff6 ай бұрын
You can just upload your logo to a place that sells DTF Prints (like Heat Transfer Warehouse) and they'll print it for you!

Hi, then you can just transfer the logo to the shirts by ironing or it's necessary to have a heat press machine?
@HeyLetsMakeStuff5 ай бұрын
@@karenxtreme You definitely want a heat press machine. I've had OK luck with a handheld heat press (like the Cricut EasyPress), but most professionals will say to use a traditional heat press with heavy pressure.

Can someone please help me. In this example, there are multiple t-shirt sizes that need to be made for a family photo shoot. Let’s say family A last name is Westmoreland, and family B last name is Jones. If both tees are size x-large, I can get a larger font on the tee that has Jones (less words) for a last name. But if I do that, wouldn’t it look kinda crazy when everyone is pictured together? Well, there are a total of 20 kids, ranging in t-shirt size from a onesie to an extra large. I am so confused about this that I am probably not doing a good job at asking this question. Do I use the same size font on all the shirts that are the same size: 120 font on all x-large shirts, regardless of how long the longest word is? Sorry for kinda rambling, but I would greatly appreciate any help as I want to do a good job.
@HeyLetsMakeStuff7 ай бұрын
This is a great question! If it was me, I would probably make jones slightly larger than Westmoreland, but not large enough to make it the same width. Does that make sense? There's no right or wrong way to do it, but I feel like making Jones slightly larger will help it be seen better but it won't be so enormous that it dwarfs Westmoreland.

What’s the legality on selling these?
@HeyLetsMakeStuff5 ай бұрын
If DTF transfers are your own designs, you can sell them! You can't sell anything licensed (like Disney). And if you are buying/downloading an image from another designer, you should check their terms of service.

Ur telling me $21 for 3 images ? 😮

It depends on the size of your images and whether you create a gang sheet or not.
