I recently got a couple of his sets. I did as you did basically but put the part with the numbers back in the with the pastel. I also saw someone using a cigar cutter to cut up the pastels. Made quick work of a tedious job.

Thank you for this very useful and interesting video.. A question: Without the labels or a color map, how do you know which color to order when you need to restock a specific color? Or do you only purchase premade sets?

Good question, at this point I've only purchased sets except for spruce blue (Nupastel) or Terry Ludwig (eggplant). I have made charts in the past and haven't even used them. It's great to do if that gives you peace of mind. So far I've found that if I can get the value right the color with usually work especially if the temperature is correct.

I bought the entire set of swatches from Dakota. They’re hand made and beautiful!
