Technically yes. You can open up any photos in Lightroom and edit them. However if they are photos that you don’t own the copyright to, I would make sure to ask permission 👍

Nice, I use collections but prefer the Smart Collections. But yes, a great way to organize your library of Photos.

You kept saying "folders" instead of "collection" which is only going to confuse people. Folders are on your hard drive. Collections are virtual folders. You didn't explain that in the beginning and if they never used collection's before they won't understand the diff. 😢

Thank you for clarifying that! Yes the folders and collections are different. My thought process is that I was trying to explain that the collections act as folders of images within lightroom. I can totally understand how that would be confusing to others.
