This is a good solution, but I ended up getting a picture storing box, the size is perfect and it has a nice handle so I can take it to my grow room.

I'm embarrassed to say I have bought seeds to last a lifetime and some more!!!! I store them in the small pouches and then into envelopes as per type- flowers,beans,lettuces,climbers, underground,peppers and tomatoes and store in my fridge. Too hot n humid here to keep outside. Your setup looks good with the organizer.

Mumbai Balcony Gardener You are not alone :) I have way too many seeds and this is why I try to organize them, otherwise I end up wasting a lot of it by them just dropping off the seed packets!

I started using empty vitamin bottles (plastic jars) to store my seeds in because I get a lot my seeds in bulk for growing sprouts (growing sprouts takes a LOT of seeds), and I also save a lot of seeds from my own garden. Between my wife and I, we take a bit of vitamin supplements, so I save the bottles and they come in handy for storing the bulk seeds. I label the bottles the same way as you with postage labels. I label them on the top lid and front (along with the seed date), so I can just keep the bottles in a tote, and see what they are from the top. I like your idea for storing the stuff that is just in seed packets, so I may do that as well.

California Gardening this video was fun to watch...love the organization! I found these "Kinetic" 5x7" containers that claim bpa free and to increase produce longevity (silver nanotechnology tecnology?), from Ross' and TJMaxx to store the seeds I collect from the garden. Those small zip lock bags look convenient, I will look out for those. Thank you very much again for the tips!

my dad keeps his in separate brown paper bags for each species of seed it a dedicated mini fridge he only uses for seeds, he just germinated some 10 year old tomato seeds this February he had 80%+ germination on them. I think I may find a slightly smaller set of drawers like you got here and see if I can fit it in the back of my fridge.

Too humid where I live so, no plastic bags. Paper envelopes that I make were the solution.
