That's just pain. They obviously did this so players would spend resources on upgrading cards. And you will never have enough. Combined with the new pass royale which costs more but gives more gold it's just scam.

The only card I can't use is Most champions and Phoenix since they're underleveled but a good decision I made long time ago was upgrading a variety of my cards instead or maxing 1 deck or very few 1st. So now for this season and the others lvls go up each league so I can use more cards.
