thank you so much for this 😭 i can plot and work on characters for days but when its time to really outline the book chapter by chapter i get so overwhelmed that i freeze up. this helped tremendously!!! 💗💗💗 just for some added info, the romance trope i ended up landing on was enemies to lovers!

Character A is a Millennial male who is a failed student 👨🎓 and has flunked out of medical school 🏫. His medical family is very disappointed in him but still keeps him in the house, hoping that he would make use of his time and would pursue some useful career. He gets a job as a food server even though he really doesn’t need to work because he is supported by family, and he studies part time as a student of accounting. Character B is a Millennial female who has done everything right in school and has graduated at the top of her class with a double Bachelor’s in Communications and History. But afterwards she struggles in finding a job. In need of work, she ends as a waitress in the same restaurant as the other guy. They are forced to be together, work together and maybe even get together as a couple. And in several cases, they are pushed farther apart that they want to leave. Then one big night comes along , and they are suddenly placed in the same room. They have a good conversation and grow fond of each other, almost leading to a kiss, but it’s interrupted by the guy’s grandmother who doesn’t appreciate him speaking with the woman because of her social class and mindset. . . . 😊

What if you are stuck on chapters that are between the beginning and end and you don’t know how to connect them?

Thanks so much for this. I'm used to writing Devotional/Self help but now focusing on a novel (romance) and this is so helpful. Awesome resources and starting point to build.
