Excellent video. imma amature smasher, but a pro jazz pianist. The comparisons with mastery in a performance setting are endless. Granted that is with a collaborative creative process, but I do think that is the potential smash holds.

Idea for a video: What do I look for if I am watching a recording of a fight versus a rival? My bad habits, their bad habits? Of course but what specifically? What they do when I run in? what moves gets over used? Like I know what to look for but not enough to improve on it. Help!
@Phychologik5 жыл бұрын
I would look at the match several times from the perspective of each side. See if there are any options that either player has trouble dealing with, and use this information accordingly. See if there is anything that you did that the they could’ve punished but didn’t, and the other way around. I wouldn’t really be that hard on yourself for spamming a move if it isn’t or can’t really be punished. If they called you out with a read, try to go through their thought process in identifying and predicting the habit. How could you make this habit less predictable? Not saying to completely shut down this habit, just switch things up from time to time to keep them on their toes. Definitely try to monitor how they deal with your approaches and mix up your approach timings and options accordingly. Also try to keep this in the back of your mind before you approach: “Do I have to approach? Would I win if I just stood here or spammed projectiles for the rest of the match?” Getting a lead or spamming projectiles can turn the tides of the entire game and make you approach you instead. You should not always be in the mindset that you always have to approach, especially if they are stuffing out all your approaches. This is a very big topic, so unless you get a coach or brainstorm it yourself you are not gonna get too far. Hope this could maybe help you out. Also video sources for more information: Bannanaboy Meta of smash Izaw smash Vg boot camp (ssb tournament footage)

Something that's helped me improve is just by watching and reacting. Instead of going head on and seeing what they do, I hold back, wait for the first move, and then react. At first it sucks cause I couldn't react but now I can react and can also predict their moves. All because I sat back and watched before trying to hit something. One other tip I have that's stood out to me over the years is this definition of "nuetral" 'you're not really aiming for your opponent, your aiming for where you think the opponent is going to be at. you're putting a barrier between you and your opponent and if you happen to land the move that's when you start attacking and comboeing' if you can't ever get into range of a camper it's because they are playing this version of "neutral" this neutral also works for melee combat too, not just ranged

Dude it's one thing to have a negative opinion about the channel but there is no need to come here and comment on this video saying that opinion because most people go to the comments to read what people have to say about the video and not the channel in a whole. You are also not giving them a chance to decide if they like the channel because most people will read that kind of comment and leave on the spot. It's ok to have an opinion about the channel but don't comment on a video from the channel when the people watching are either trying to learn if they like it and most of the time are influenced by the comments or they are people that like the content and read the comments to see what funny, supportive, personal, ect. comments are on there.

@@FGC_Redeemer yes so have an opinion but don't have an opinion is what you're saying. If you don't like what he has to say just blatantly say it. This passive aggressive bs is sad annoying. But I believe the scam he is referring to is there actual website where there "pro guides" are pretty trash and I believe it is is scam. Most of there free KZbin guides are pretty good. But instead of just having a discussion you're instead worried about how other people will see this. But people have opinions get over it. Everyone's allowed a voice.
