The name of the type of aircraft is 'float plane', my father flew them around Sydney harbour a few years back. The explanations of the perspectives you have as you re-progress are sweet, I watch heaps of skateboarding vlogs and most of the good skaters can't explain tricks to beginners because a lot of the learned movements have become second nature.

Totally agree with both of these ideas, but especially the bands. Really great idea. As far as Stacy goes I kind of get the impression he doesn't do these kind of things on purpose. He pretty much told his skateboarding story in Dog Town and Z-Boys and seems like he's willing to leave that there. I was honestly surprised they got him to say so much in Tony's doc. But there's so much he could talk about outside of just his early skateboarding life. I could think of 100 things to ask him just about documentary filmmaking and the success he's had with it.

Sending healing vibes, Tony! I had a good physio some years back who had a helpful way of framing longterm recovery. He'd same that feeling the same the next day *was* progress. Rehab suggestion: flat-water paddle boarding. Low impact, and improves balance, core, and sometimes dignity, if I don't bail.

Hey Tony Hawk. I'm a 32 year old that just got back into skating after about 10 years. When I wasn't skating I found cardistry, or card flourishing. I would love to hear your opinion on it after seeing it because it was something that reminded me of that feeling you get skating, except it's all with your hands and something you can do if you were injured and healing from skating. It really helped me during that time of not being able to like just get out and accomplish something. Anyway much love till the wheels fall off

My apologies for sounding inconsiderate. I only meant not real skating in comparison to the last 40 years of my life and what goes on at my ramp every day. To have gone from spinning 540's easily to barely reaching the coping only weeks later has jaded my perspective. It's all real skating at whatever level you choose, and I am trying to readjust my expectations.

I know what you mean, but I'm 100% sure that was not a dig at any of us less capable skaters, but just that those are the most basic tricks that normally are to Tony like pedaling a bike is to bike-riding, you know, so not a trick for him, per se. I really love you guys but you gotta change the way you do the sponsored segments. Pls take this as constructive criticism and don't take it as typical internet negativity. You seem to accept the weirdest random offers. A showerhead? Really? And it feels like Jason reads the text for the first time and has ZERO idea what the product even is. It's like that every time. I watch a lot of YT and usually i skip sponsored segments out of principle and I'm afraid to say, on this show i really have to skip them because they're bad. It would really help if you seemed more informed about the product. Maybe that would help you to make a joke here and there. I'm sure the ladies in the audience can think of funny ways to get extra value from the fancy way it releases the water. I love the show, keep it up :)
