Super good point about cleaning the bike first. Never seen anybody mention it but many good riding places have concerns about disease entry with dirt (the USA included)

Double down on cleaning your stuff before going to Australia or NZ. Brought kayaking and biking gear and they laid it all out during immigration and checked everything.

The only reason why I didn't get this exact hard case is because the weight is just a little too high when paired with my custom Norco optic C1 for avoiding the excess luggage charge over 32kg

Great video. Any chance you think a 49.65 inch wheelbase would fit? Riding an XL Hightower. Possibly with removing rear mech? Wanting to verify before throwing down the guac.

Definitely would fit, but you might have to remove the hanger

How long did it take you to get it in the box? I'll be traveling a lot and wanted a secure way to leave my bike on the roof of my sprinter van (looks like this will lock to the roof rack).

Only takes about 10 minutes to pack/unpack once you get the hang of it.

When the bike is inside how far are the dropouts to the case? What’s the wheelbase/size of your Nomad! Trying to gauge if my Nomad V5 would fit 🤣 the site says 1168mm wheel base but mine is 1222mm.

For sure it will work, you might have to remove the rear derailleur hanger though.
