Between 1.5 to 2 meters of lines should be out of the pouch of the reserve to connect to the harness. If shorter, the reserve could fail to exit the pouch. A longer line is needed so the reserve has enough distance and momento to deploy from the pouch.

Yes ! Very important. The bag has to extend more than an arms length (throwing distance) before starting to open. Otherwise it will resist being thrown.) That wooden thingy looked nice, because the least pleasurable phase is to do the spaghetti figure of eight by freehand ;) . I was wondering by what magic he slipped the rubber band on, but it was, of course, already on the pin :) . The least pleasurable phase is to do the figure of eight with spaghetti by freehand ;) . So when you throw, the mouth lock opens immediately and then you hope that you get full line stretch before the canopy starts to deploy. As opposed to getting full line stretch and then the last loop opens the mouth lock?

Good tool but for multiple rescue use better made with many holes. I made plate with holes close 2sm like chess board and its work with all rescue. If you packing only one parachute check size of rescue bag and take nearly 10%. Like if bag wide 20sm made holl on board nearly 18sm. And most common when you make new technology check many times. With rescue best check in air ))) ofcourse take with you second rescue)) Be safe.

I just took a 2 x 4 and put two 3" nails in it that were the width of my bag. It works well. I just band up the widths of line as I need to.

+svorcikv Poštovani, cilj džepa za kanape upravo jeste da osigura sigurno otvaranje, samim tim da pospeši isto. Nema razloga za brigu - sveobuhvatno testiranje je opravdalo upotrebu istog. Pozdrav!

There are no silly questions, until i saw this one! so im guessing where your from you just read books right, im being pedantic sorry, but this is concise and extremely well depicted, other than watching someone else do this, which for some would be impossible, it's extremely well shown, a little fast but good enough for the person wanting to do this at a workshop/ group repack to get the idea.

Yeah, it's just a depiction. So you could read up on it. get the idea, get the training & while training use this to assist. You'll remember when you get through certain steps. It's an aid. And when you're down the line and you forget one step hey!, here you go. a video you can resort to make sure you get it right. But no not on it's own. It's an aid. Just imagine you wanna double check. but oh yeah
