One more tip, Get rid of the HD aluminum bag attach screws and get some stainless hex button head screws to attach saddle bags with. They save room, have a bit more security against bag theft and don't intrude or hinder closing and locking your bag lids.

I commend Mrs HDR on her packing, my wife would never make that, lol. When I go by myself I can use the space on the bike but when the wife comes along for anything more than an overnighter then its the trailer, which I don't really mind because it gives a place for jackets and helmets when we go in somewhere. Thanks for the video.

Yes you have to use what works for you. Our jackets fit on the back of the bike under the ROK straps when we are not wearing them. Ride Safe

We have those same saddlebag liner/bags and they're great. We use a TourPak bag with velcro straps also. All Harley branded but besides the camera bags, we use the same stuff. Great packing tips as the missus and I prepare for our first couple trip to Sturgis from So. Cal. I've rode it once but thrilled to bring her along this time. Keep us updated and ride safe.

Had to get my wife cut back on the stuff she wants to take. Right side saddle bag does not change ever, both rain suits, tool kit, first aid kit, hat. Have a hard t bag similar to the Rick rack, trick is to keep heavy items low, lighter items high. Vacuum seal bags are great space savers as well. Stay safe.

Just wondering if you adjust tire pressure with the added weight or is that not necessary and you don’t tamper with that.
@HarleyDayRider3 жыл бұрын
I do not adjust the tires pressure. I do have a constant monitoring system to keep tabs on the pressure. Here is a link if you would like to pick up a set of FOBO2 TPM. amzn.to/3hP1GdL. Ride Safe
