How to Pack Light for Travel ✈️ two weeks with just a backpack

I shipped books back from a trip I took. I used UPS 3 day. It arrived in perfect timing on day 2 of arrival home. No hassle! I use small packing cubes and number them for the days. I roll pants, shirts, undies and socks all together. I just pull out the specific cube for the day. As days go on, the used cubes go into the bottom of my backpack. I carry plastic bags to put dirty clothes in and they go back into the cube. I have traveled extensively. This method evolved over time. Simplicity!

I'm dressier than you when I travel (especially thru the holidays) but I definitely appreciated your principles and thought process. (Altho nothing to stop you from bringing a patterned scarf - provided it goes with most of your outfits, can go along way to add variation and chique to your wardrobe; and you can wear it on the plane so no problem. I'd also add a hat for same reasons). Personally I don't see any reason to take a laptop on a holiday, but you probably need it? FYI, KZbin isn't letting me like this video so that's something you might want to look into. As a creator you should be getting your due likes; and I would like to see more videos like this achieving popularity (vs so many of the extremely impractical and unrealistic packing videos that are out there)

Why does no one talk about space saver vacuum bags. They save so much more space then packing cubes. They are cheep and you have so much more room.

They save space but not weight. And weight is becoming an increasing issue with airlines these days (even in the States).

You can do it. I did 7 weeks, carryon only, Canada, winter. It's doable. (I've been looking at the cheap flights in Europe that are personal item only and it's so tempting I'm challenging myself to make that work. FYI I'm Aussie - we never travel abroad for

Packing all your pants in one cube, all your tops in another cube and undies in another cube means you have to dig out three cubes to dress. Rolling pants, top, undies and socks all in one means you only have to access one cube for the day.

I think this was reasonable for winter. San Fran gets pretty cold. Personally I'd have taken less outerwear and packed some thermals, but we all travel different and have different fashion styles
