Hi Sue...thank you for this On the one shipment box shown, there were 12 pieces shipped, which puts the packaging materials at average of $1/piece. I'm assuming the store passes that on to the consumer along with the shipping cost. Hard to say whether or not that's reasonable cost, but being in a tourist area, consumers are often buying the article as a memory of their trip, and so are less price sensitive than when they are home shopping for staples. I'm sure you have experienced the marked increase in shipping affecting all businesses. As that cost is passed on, are you concerned about the impact to your top line, or do you believe the pent up travel demand will over come the product and delivery related increases?

Usually we get more than that in a box and this client got several boxes. That was probably the most inefficiently packed of the ones we sent. We usually start with big pieces and put small pieces around it. But you eventually get to a place where you run out of small pieces. Sometimes we call the customer up and ask them if they want more small pieces to help with the cost by filling the box better. We really haven’t had anyone complain about shipping costs. Everyone is in the same boat. We ship with USPS which tends to be less than others. And we are really backed up with orders so I guess the charges are fine. No one likes shipping charges-it’s just part of the business and we do the best we can with it. I think our customers recognize we really do care and do the best we can with it. The other thing you have to keep in mind is this. Many of our customers are located in economies that are more expensive than our location so they can get the added cost. And I do believe that when folks are on vacation they are more generous with their spending. Hope that helps. Sue
