How To Pack Your Bag for a Ruck + Making a Pig Egg

I've used my school backpack and some books and weights from the gym to train for my fire seasons. Was it comfortable? No. Was it good for my back, not the way I had it set up. But it's what I had/could afford at the time. Be resourceful.
If you are in this job for the long haul or just enjoy rucking, I'd highly recommend investing in a good rucking pack and weights. I have really enjoyed my GoRuck setup, it quick, easy, efficient and effective.

If you have an old pair of jeans. Cut the legs and sew or hot glue one end.. fit with sand and glue closed and then wrap in duct tape....
