Hey just wanted to ask if you make your own stickers? I really want to make a small business on the side as a student and Idk if I should just get nice stickers online or just make my own. Thank you in advance :)

I started off by using another company to make my stickers but wasn't making much since the company was taking most of my profit. I invested in a cricut explore one and order sticker sheets from onlinelabels.com. If you have the money, I would invest in a cutting machine such as the cricut.

@@thequietonesspeak I have a Silhouette Cameo 3 and thats the thing i use for cutting things. What i meant was, if you draw your own sticker or save sticker pages from someone else(with/without permission) because thats what i wanted to do for my own. i dont have the talent to draw my own stickers yet 😅

The only way you can use someone else's design to create stickers is if they are "free for commercial use" or you ask the person if you can use it, but you have to be very specific and explain that you want to sell stickers with their design. You can get in a lot of trouble if you just take a design and sell it.

So I have a question because I see that you don’t have a big following. I want to make my own stickers but I’m scared because I don’t have a social media presence on my art stuff, I do have about 530 subs on my other channel but it’s not art related! Do you get lots of traffic on your sticker store or good sales? I know it takes a lot to make them and I really want to do it but i can’t afford to start now ): how long have you been selling stickers? Was it scary to start or you were just like eff it lmao I’m sorry I’m throwing so many questions at you I just don’t have anyone to ask

Hi Jasmine! I'm so sorry for the late reply. I haven't been on my youtube in ages. I started selling my own stickers a few months ago. I think they are a big hit on etsy. Stickers sell very well there. Idk what you plan to use to make them, but I recommend using Onlinelabels.com for your sticker sheets. I use a cricut machine to cut them but if you wanna start small, you could just purchase the sheets, print and cut them by hand. Hope this helps!
