I loved following painting "the basic rose". I am 80 and have been in theater most of my life. In the beginning, way back when..I used to draw and draw most every day. Somewhere along the way I decided I wasn't good enough and I veered away from doing Art except in my theater journey. Now I am back and learning that I have "enough" to paint again. Thank you.

Wow! Picked up another tip. Thick vs thin paint. Thick has power over thin. Use thin for background and fading edges away. Use thick paint for the bolder and brighter colors. Love your videos and I keep learning more. Thank you for being such a great teacher. It really helps me to understand the why of what you do.
