That looks like a rock from Schoolhouse Beach on Washington Island

I'm assuming that's a good thing? I do not know what SchoolHouse Beach is or if its just a location?

@@SueSloan it is a beach on Washington Island on the Door County Peninsula on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin. It's one of 5 beaches that has no sand, just these beautiful cream colored limestone rocks that have been polished by the waves over thousands of years they are mostly oval and flat and smooth as a baby's butt. people build cairns on the beach out of them.

John Proffitt I would love to get my hands on some of those lol. Love natural stones I go to the landscaping company occasionally and pick out some beach stones. No place around me where you could legally take stones that I know of. See pictures of stone beaches and am in awe. That one protected or do they allow folks to remove some? My Mom lives in IL I’d detour sometime if it’s legal lol.

@@SueSloan it is protected, although i know that stones go home as souvenirs all the time. there was a place on the Gallatin River near Bozeman , MT that had tons of polished river rocks as i remember.

The pencil is "Generals Chalk Pencil" I bought mine from "The Happy Dotting Company" on Etsy. But they also sell them on Amazon and many other places.
