Thanks so much for this video. I've looked at every example of Bloodletter swords and this is far and away the best. So glad I went with this style. It looks fantastic in person. Bravo!

I'm thinking of painting a bloodthirster to look like a balrog, would this burning ember effect work on large area's of flesh? If not what would you suggest?

Would you use the same technique for a sci-fi/high tech sword, like a mono-filament Katana (from Yu Jing's Infinity?) If different, could you do a tutorial on that?

Extremely informative.

would you use a similar technique on the eldar avatar of khaine?

You are keeping GW in business with as much Lahmian (not laymian) medium you use.
@Direwoof6 жыл бұрын
I never used it, I just use water, I use shitty blown out brushes sometimes dirty water and I still get good results. You don't need to spend all that money to get a good result.

Is it possible to use this technique for other kits i.g gundam?
@DementedClownGuy6 жыл бұрын
Robo 1234 I would assume yes.

Not a fan of the embers but I suppose that's the beauty of being able to paint your own models, you get to decide what looks cool. Thanks for the video.
