How to Paint a Record Album Dot Mandala - Repurpose - 396 - Sue Sloan
This videos is just repurposing a record album into wall decor. I used just regular acrylics on this album and prepared it only by cleaning with rubbing alchohol.
A lot of folks use multi-surface paints but I have had no issue with peeling on these and have had one made for over a year now.
I have also yet to seel them with anything.

I just pick them lol. I had a lot of schooling on color theory it’s just second nature to me. I like to think out of the box a lot and play around can’t really advise on why I choose what. I hope you like the end results though. 🥰

Hi Sue. I love your work and your tutorials. Thank you! I do have one question on using the record albums. I'm guessing that every album lines will be different depending on how long the songs are. Any thoughts on that? Thanks!

That's true but you can just estimate the distance and follow a line you have that is about the same distance. Don't get hung up on things being "exact". Just always try to end on an even number of dots when you go around and you should be fine. :)

@@SueSloan Thank you. What I'm using right now is some particle board that I'm trying to use up for practice.. I've been just trying to eyeball your tutorials and use a compass to make my circles.

@@jilljo1632 it’s totally possible to do that. Most folks on KZbin don’t give measurements like I do and people do their designs. Just remember they are up for learning. And the more you do like you are the easier it will become to you to do it. This will greatly help you in the long run when you want to resize a design. And if something doesn’t end up spacing correctly it will also teach you to improvise and come up with your own design. Just relax, take your time and enjoy the process. I’m sure it will turn out wonderful 😀

@@SueSloan unfortunately they are not listed by mm. Only have numbers on each. The smaller the number the bigger the tool. Got them from dot art depot. They are angled.

@@kathyheil457 I would email and ask them.. if they aren’t listed on the site they should know. If you don’t get a response if you know someone with tools (my husband did my ball stylus tools for me). You need a caliper tool and you can measure them yourself.

I am not a doctor or smt. but I figured out something strange. KZbinrs who caught cancer tend to use chemics that don't ordinary people who don't.Of course KZbinrs who have cancer are also more creative. that would be the reason why they use these chemics.
