I decided to do this twice. I just bought my first watercolor set this week (12 colors), and this is my first project in my journal. I think I've learned something each time, and I'm trying different colors. Maybe I'll do it twice more and then try something new

I have been watching your videos for a while. I love everyone of them. The ghost portrait is my fav. I finally got the courage to buy watercolor paint and paper. This Beach was the first real thing I attempted I tried birch trees, then just played with the colors and did a bunch of hearts. This one came out the best. the birch trees are good too; but My birds need lots of work lol. Thank You for putting yourself out there for others. You are indeed a light.

Thank you for showing us how to have fun with watercolors. I teach crafts for ladies as therapy and stress relief. One class is older moms raising grandkids, they really need to have fun and feel successful. This beach will be simple and easy for everyone. I used your pet portrait idea, printed a clipart of the Lion and the Lamb. I had them do the wavy lines and paint. They chatted and teased and had so much fun..and most important felt good about themselves and proud to display their artwork. I'm planning projects for three different groups and your videos are an invaluable resource for us teachers. THANK YOU

Beautifully done. I bought a nice watercolor set at a sale because the mood struck me. Then I get it home and I'm like, "Why did I do this, I have no clue how to watercolor paint?" Then I stumble upon your video and now I'm excited to break out those paints. I used to yo paint for an year or so. But I stopped lately. I feel overwhelmed to restart. Meanwhile my daughter started showing interest and she wanted to do beach painting.finally I found a simple one apt for her and challenging enough for my 4 year old. Thanks alot for being so kind and putting up something simple when there are alot of people showing off or even showing more advanced concepts. Lesson learned today (my second attempt at watercolor). You can NOT water color outside in Florida. The paint dries almost before it touches the paper. 😂

I'd like to see a beach with grayish sand and rocks and driftwood. The ocean beaches in our state (WA) don't have tan or white sand and there's very little grass until you head inland. But we have a plethora of rocks and driftwood!
