Hi Stephen I do like a snow scene and to be honest pretty much any landscape, I would definitely have put some snow on the trees to and it definitely made a difference to your painting. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend.

the only time i use large brushes is on 16x20"+ canvases the only thing i use of bob ross is a 50/50 mix of linseed oil and zinc white

I use a regular household undercoat on my canvas before i paint. Just a thin coat and let it dry. It really helps
