First reflex: Always check whether the color palette is there. And I also thought for a moment: Stupid, no color palette. But you explain everything so incredibly well, very casually, without much fuss. 19 minutes, everything you need is there. You're doing a really good job 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 If anything, the first basic color of the object would be quite good, because many people - including me - sometimes don't understand how the color used comes about in a certain place. When it comes to color theory, I learned more from your 19 minute video than from 80 full tutorials that provided me with their palette of 50 tones. In 2 days I no longer know which color was used in which place, let alone why.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yeah I actually thought about providing color palettes, but at the end of the day feel like it would be more beneficial to get the artist to think about choosing their own color based off of learning about color theory, making mistakes, etc. That’s how I best learned about using color at least, rather than being provided an entire complex color palette that I could just pick from without really knowing why I’m choosing that color, and therefore not learning much from it, like you mentioned. Anyway, I appreciate you sharing this, and glad the video could be helpful :)

Idea, maybe share your color palette or the color codes so we can all follow along. Gonna give it a try, i love painting trees

“How to” and “tutorial,” different things. Find a channel that offers full tutorials for trees and where everyone has painted the same tree in the end. You want to paint the tree 1:1, but that's not what the video is intended for. Anyone who wants to learn: The boy is doing an extremely good job. THIS is what it looks like when you LEARN (the job). If you want to master the basics of drawing. And he does it extremely well compared to many larger channels. If you need all the codes, his channel might just not be the right one.
