i so love how you do this you are amazing. The question i have how do you remember what to paint, as i just cannot pick out detail from my head. the only way i try to draw or paint is by coping a picture and even then i am not very good. i have tried to draw portraits and i have even used the Loomis method which did help but still find it difficult. i know i will have to spend more time on it eventually but don't have the time at the moment to do it properly. you are amazing at what you do.

Thank you! Sometimes I’ll use references and combine them and create a piece into my own style. So you could totally use reference photos but I’d encourage everyone to be creative and recreate it into your own style. Even if it’s just a color change, it’ll help with growing your creativity! Also honestly the best way to improve and focus on the details is to practice painting subjects, it’s like studying for a test.. the more you repeat it the better you’ll remember when the real test comes. 🎨👍
