How to Paint Accursed Cultists

In this video I'll be showing how I painted up one of the three large Accursed Cultists miniatures. I love the miniature (bar the wing, no idea why, but I didn't enjoy painting the webbing of it) and the 'burst' human in the middle is just great! I wanted it to be bright so went with Ahriman Blue for the daemon's skin, but if you wanted it red you could use Mephiston Red, Druchii Violet, Mephiston Red, Evil Sunz Scarlet and Wild Rider Red to achieve the same look but redder.

Love this! Didnt know where to start with mine so been looking at a few vids, the contrast between the blue of the demon and the skin tone of the cultist really nails that the demon has taken over, definitely the way to go.

Cheers Scoober, very much appreciated! :) The rest of them are WIPs at the moment, but I went for really bright colours for the rest of them, reds, oranges, greens, etc. Really makes them stand out and look a bit wild. :)

I've got the new Kill Team arriving tomorrow Ashes of Faith and inside comes the Dark Commune, cultists, and the accursed cultists as well. I play Thousand Sons so most of my CSM and Cultist units worship Tzeentch. So this paint job is some nice inspiration for how I should paint mine up

Looks phenomenal! I specifically love the blue parts inside the skin where it hasn’t fully ripped out yet. I play word bearers so my whole army is red and I’m thinking a squad of 10 mutants and 6 of these big guys will look so cool and give great contrast if I do each torment in a different color. Probably red, green, blue, yellow, black, and purple.
